After waxing lyrical on various subjects over the past few posts I thought it was time to show how I am bringing them together with the shunting modules. I am experimenting with.
This is a reworked GreenMax factory kit. The real Armstrong Engineering was owned and operated by my father-in-law and was a smaller and non-rail served premises, but when the building came into place on the module it felt very right to name it so.

Overall view from one end of “Saddlers’ Interstate Forwarding” Module. Saddlers’ Interstate Forwarding is a name variation on Sadleirs Logistics that use rail and road for freight movement from Sydney and Melbourne to Perth. This is a very much shrunk down version from a POLA kit I had on hand. I still have a few `fiddly bits’ to finish off on this module.

Some ground work and electrostatic grass and the new bufferstop is looking very much at home.

I see in your photos you have managed to fit auto couplers to your F class.
Which style did you use ? any chance of photos showing the frame.

G’day Michael, Thanks for the inquiry. The `F class’ in question has a failed conversion that is essentially cosmetic.The coupling is the comparatively new DAPOL magnetic knuckle coupler fitted to an older version of the Bachmann/Graham Farish 08. I have recently purchased the latest 08 version by Bachmann/Graham Farish and it has NEM coupler pockets to take the DAPOL coupler plus, according to the internet warbling, should take the newer style Bachmann EZ mate couplers. I have recently obtained both types of coupler for the new loco and so will up date the blog soon with a description of my attempts. Are you a member of the Victorian N Scale Collective, well worth it if you are not already. One member has done a good looking F Class conversion but has not written it up yet.

Hi Andrew, Thanks for the quick and informative reply i do have a confession to make. I Have tried a conversion using MT 1016.
One big mess,have a second body will try again.
If you are interested i’m having a etch brass detail kit but together this will include cowcatcher, side boards, number boards and cab decal.
